Chodbičky v pokožce, asi 1 cm dlouhé, vytváří zákožka svrabová, která parazituje v kůži a vyvolává onemocnění lidí s nízkým hygienickým standardem - svrab. Chodbičky se nachází na dlaňové straně zápěstí, na prstech a mezi nimi, na pupku, prsních bradavkách a zevních pohlavních orgánech.
